Golfing in Brittanny
Golf courses in northern Brittany are superb. Compared to places such as Le Touquet, they are relatively undiscovered by the British. The weather in Brittany is generally several degrees warmer than in the UK (like the Channel Islands), making golf really enjoyable from March to November. Flights, ferries, accommodation are good value from September to July and green fees outside of the high season (generally July and August) are considerably cheaper than in the UK.
We recommend the following courses for the more serious golfer.
Golf des Ajoncs D'Or
Between Lanvollon and St Quay Portrieux, approx 15 minutes drive.
18 holes, par 72, 6078 metres, driving range and clubhouse facilities.
In high season a round will cost approx 38 euros.

Golf des Sables D'Or

A more sedate links course, with a laid back feel. The enormous sandy beach at Sables D'Or is only 5 minutes away, so on a sunny day, the family could be easily tempted to come with you and relax on the beach.
